Author, Dorinne Whynott, Owner of Professional Pet Sitting Etc.

Hi, I am Gus Bennett,

  • My Date of birth is 8-15-12
  • I am a Neutered Male, domestic shorthair, orange tiger with white
  • My Mom is Dorinne Whynott

Here is MY story –

My Human Mom fostered me when I was just 4 weeks old for the Manchester Animal

Shelter.  You see, I was the only one rescued from a burning building.  The rest of my feline family was not found.  Anyway, as soon as I was placed in my Mom’s hands we both fell in love and I was soon officially adopted!! How lucky am I!!!

Gus Bennett says "I want more food!!"

Gus Bennett says “I want more food!!”

I am growing up to be a big solid boy.  I play a lot.  My favorite is playing fetch!  Yes, I LOVE to play fetch.  When I want to play, I will bring my Mom one of my toys, when she throws it, I joyfully race after it and bring it right back for more.  I can do this for for quite a while until I am exhausted and must lay down panting.  It is sooo much fun.

Did you know that I dance!! Sounds funny, but Mom calls it my Litterbox Dance.  Haha!

Okay, I have to tell you my litterbox dance…..it is so much fun.  While my Mom is getting our food ready, we all take turns going to the litterbox and go because we all eat in our crates (more about this in a future blog).

In our cat room (yes, we have our own room, aren’t we the luckiest), we have two huge litterboxes in the closet, doors always open.   The litterboxes are big enough for at least two cats in each at a time.  Well, while someone is in each litterbox, I like to jump from one to the other, back and forth, back and forth.  My Mom thinks I am a nut, but it is fun and no one else seems to mind.  Then when the others are done, I hunker down in one then “Boing”, I spring straight up and jump into the other.  Then after a few times of this, I do finally go.  But I have so much fun in the mean time!!  My Mom wants to get this on video!!

Well, so far that is my story.  My Mom says she will add more fun things and pictures as times goes on.

Hope you enjoyed it,

Gus Bennet - Nap Time!!

Bye for now, Gus Bennett
