Professional Pet Sitting, Etc. is continually growing
and
looking for
animal lovers. Our positions are fun and flexible. Great for moms, retirees
and for people who have a full time job (can be done before and after
work). We have 38+ pet sitters on staff at this time and
most have been with our company for 3 - 11 years!
We are so lucky to have the greatest group of people working for us.
Everyone is so responsible and has an absolute love for animals.
All pet sitters help one another to make sure that all the pets in our
care get the best care. You must be 21 years old or older and
have your own car and car insurance. You will be required to follow
our policy and procedures, complete
and sign a
non-disclosure/non-compete contract, do a police back ground check and
w-2 to make you our employee. WE DO NOT HAVE INDEPENDENT
CONTRACTORS, WE HAVE EMPLOYEES. All positions
are as needed part time positions, which means that you
are required to work as we need you in the areas you are hired for.
Pet care visits are up to 30 or 60 minutes and can be scheduled in the
am, mid day, supper and/or pm visit time periods. If
someone goes away for 3 weeks and needs 2 visits (am/pm) per day, we
want only one pet sitter to do the entire 3 weeks, 2x per day.
It is much easier on the pets, the pet sitter, scheduling, payroll and
much more. However, if you can not do a visit for any reason,
you would call your back up pet sitter.

If you are interested in becoming part of our superior pet care team, call our
office at 603-888-8088, after we close (to get into our computer
recordings), so call after 130pm on Monday - Thursday, or any Friday,
Saturday, Sunday or holiday when our office is closed. Press 7 for
the "Employment Information Recording". You may need to press 7
once or twice, until you hear the recording start with "This is the
employment information recording". This recording is about
10 minutes long and will tell you what we are looking for in a pet
sitter and what you can expect. If after hearing the recording,
you are still interested in a position, then please leave a message
with your name,
that you heard the recording (so we don't tell you again), let us know where you
live and leave a daytime phone, cell or work number, where you can be
reached anytime between 9am - 12pm, Monday through Thursday.
Please do not leave a message over the weekend on a Friday, Saturday
and Sunday. Please leave a message on Monday through Thursday. We
will give you a call back, answer any other questions you may have and
set up a time for you to fill out an application.

Also it is great for people who love animals because you get to spend time with many different animals as you get to go to many different houses in any given week. I was a previous employee of Professional petsitting and I can attest to the level of professionalism and care for the business by Dori (owner) .This is not a temporary business. It is well grounded and very well run to details and concern for the clients. I was well trained and I was thoroughly background checked and equally as important was hired because of my love for helping the clients pets. It was not enough to just be trained and sent off to the visits, Dori personally supervised several of my first visits to ensure i understood the particular and unique training to Professional Petsitting training she provides to all the sitters. The training she provides is well organized , detailed and unique for the sitters to properly serve the clients and be well prepared. I have worked for Professional Pet Sitting for over 10 years and have to say in all honesty I love my job. I get plenty of exercise, fresh air and more importantly get to take care of lots of lovely pets.
